The work that was done to my vehicle was done properly. The problem with this service visit was my “assigned” rep Alex. I dropped my truck off at 9am. I was told when I made the appointment that it would take 3-4 hours.
When i dropped it off there was a nice man, I cannot remember his name, however he was in an arm immobilizer. He greeted me. He ascertained that my appointment was with Alex. ( my first time at this dealership for service, i am not accustomed to an assigned rep)
The man asked Alex if he had time to check me in. He said no. I believe he said he had a pt appointment to get too. ( pt ?? Not certain)
When I left 5 minutes later. Alex was leaning against the wall in the lobby on his phone.
At 4:15 on my way to an evening job, i text the provided number that was sent to me wondering my truck would be ready as I had not heard from anyone. I also stated that at this point in the day I could not pick up the truck.
When i got out of work I called the dealership. I spoke to a very nice sales agent who went and checked to see if snyone was in service. They were all gone.
He did tell me that he left a note for service to call me.
This is what I received via text in the morning.
Good morning, Sarah replying for Alex. I am so sorry in the lack of communication. We wrapped up late last night but you can pick up this morning.
Reply STOP to cancel.
When I picked up the truck i was told Alex left at 4:00. The prior day that is why he did not respond to my text inquiry.
I said well good thing I had a second vehicle to drive. Maybe he had an emergency or a bad day but otherwise this is really poor.
A phone call would have been nice to say we wont have your truck ready until tomorrow. No big deal. Even now, non big deal.
I am just thinking about other customers who might not have a second vehicle to rely on.

As usual Bert was great to work with
